Women Winning Government Contracts Series & Matchmaker

This series aims to educate and provide support and accessibility to the WBE/WOSB for winning a contract with the government sector. We collaborate with the Ohio University Procurement Technical Assistance Center (PTAC), a sub-center of the State of Ohio PTAC Program.
The PTAC program's mission is to provide technical assistance to small businesses desiring to enter local, state, and federal government markets as a means to support economic development and foster the retention and creation of small business jobs.

The Participants will gain the following:

  • Understand the requirements to apply for WOSB Certification to encourage partnerships within the government.
  • Our goal is to connect and recruit more WBE/WOSBs and encourage them for apply WOSB Certification for those who have not and are interested.
  • Learn how to get started in government contracting with resources and tools to help your company succeed.  We will walk your company through the SAM registration process, review the key components of a winning capability statement to market your business to the government, and share how to navigate a federal request for the proposal, including what to look for and tips to prepare a response.
